The Alienware AW3423DWF QD-OLED gaming monitor is lighter and thinner than its predecessor. Though it's a minor update, the inclusion of HDMI 2.1 support is appreciated — especially for console players. This is still a rock-solid gaming monitor.

The Alienware AW3423DWF QD-OLED addresses some of the issues I had with the original model. The low price is solid, as is the HDMI 2.1 support. Even if it’s just a general minor upgrade, the improvements objectively make it a stronger product.

The Alienware AW3423DWF is a fine choice if you want QD-OLED ultrawide awesomeness at a slightly lower price point. It has a few penalties compared to the G-Sync Ultimate version, but it is just as good in the aspects that matter most. It’s well-built and designed, so it should be a good investment that will last a while.
