NZXT H5 Flow

Overview

The NZXT H5 Flow is a beautiful case that manages to differentiate itself from the many mid-tower enclosures out there. Building on the same general principles as the H510 where its exterior is concerned, the H5 Flow finally manages to modernize the series on several fronts. From a pricing perspective, $95 for a non-ARGB, two fan ATX chassis, some of that price tag is for the unique tooling & design.

For $95 is the NZXT H5 a great case? It depends on what your needs are but for me, it is exactly what I am looking for in a case. The simple design makes it aesthetically pleasing to me, and I enjoy having it in the background of my videos. I found building in the case easier than the older model and more mesh coverage means airflow can be controlled easier.

Moving onto the H5 Flow. This is a bit of me. It looks nice, performs well and has enough room for even the largest components, and comes in at less than $100, which ticks all of the right boxes to me, as well as taking up a relatively small footprint in the mid-tower world.

Unless you plan on using multiple 3.5-inch drives, the H5 Flow is simply the better case. However, NZXT's asking price is on the high side, especially after considering the fact that users of this case will want two front-mounted fans for additional airflow. There is a lot of competition within this area of the PC market, and a lot of PC cases that are worth considering. However, if you want to buy from NZXT, the H5 Flow is a solid case, albeit one that requires some additional investment.
